About Leonetto Cappiello:

Leonetto Cappiello was an Italian and French poster art designer and painter who turned ordinary walls into theatres of colour.

In early 1900s Paris, he reimagined poster art with bold contrasts, playful characters, and effortless charm.

His prints weren’t just advertisements- they were performances, each capturing the spirit of a brand with humour and style that still feels alive today.

He is now often called 'the father of modern advertising' because of his innovation in poster design.
