Group of Three Girls Art Print | Amrita Sher-Gil Wall Art

Group of Three Girls (1935) by Amrita Sher-Gil

India, 1935. Three young women sit close together, wrapped in green, orange and red. Each looks in a different direction.

Painted after Sher-Gil's return from Europe, the work gives its subjects distinct expressions within a tightly arranged group. Earthy colour and simplified forms mark her growing interest in the people and visual traditions of India.

Earthy green, orange and red make Group of Three Girls a natural companion to warm wood and woven textiles. Choose this modern Indian art print for living room wall decor or as a thoughtful Diwali gift for someone who admires Amrita Sher-Gil.
